Say Goodbye to Physical Discomforts with Copaiba Essential Oil

Today I am sharing with you an essential oil that most of you may not have heard of – Copaiba (pronounced “Ko-pah-ee-bah”). It is a powerful essential oil from South America that has traditionally been used to support the body’s natural response to injury or irritation.

I began using Copaiba almost a year ago when I had heard the benefits it had for the body.

I began making changes in my diet and started using different essential oils and adding supplements to help increase energy, support my emotional health, and relieve occasional physical tension – which resulted in me trying Copaiba.

Copaiba contains the highest amounts of beta caryophyllene (55%) of any known essential oil. Why is that a big deal? Beta-caryophyllene has been extensively studied for its ability to modulate the the body’s response to irritation. It is an amazing natural substance.

I can verify that it does the trick to reduce physical discomfort and increases the effectiveness of other oils. I’ve been using it for relief for months.

How to Use

I use Copaiba Vitality internally to support my wellness routine and the topical version as a driver with other oils to maximize their benefit.

Copaiba is known as a magnifier (driver). Any time you use Copaiba with another essential oil, it will have the effect of magnifying the properties of that oil. Isn’t that incredible? This can enable you to use less of another more expensive oil or get larger benefits from a different oil that you are using.

Topically

Use directly on the skin NEAT to the desired area. Apply to VitaFlex points (this is very effective!). Dilution is not required, except for the most sensitive skin.

Internally as a Dietary Supplement

You can use Copiaba Vitality as a dietary supplement. Put two drops in a capsule. Take three times daily as needed.

Aromatic

Diffuse up to one hour three times daily.

Copaiba offers security and grounding. After researching a bit more on this oil, I just discovered this! I’m always learning more, so I will be diffusing this more often in my home.

If you are ready to learn more about adding essential drops of LOVE in your home with essential oils, now is the time!

  • Great post Susan! I ordered the copaiba but really didn’t know what to do with it! My husband has an illness similar to lupus and I’ve been working with oils to help him and finding great success so far, but I am beyond thrilled to add this to his regimen!!! Thanks so much! Lisa~

Thank you for this post! I was diagnosed in 2014 with SLE and was introduced to YLEO about a month ago by a client who had a friend in from Texas (we are in NC) and ordered a kit, it was definitely a God send! I’m still learning but have seen great results and have never felt better! I was able to stop my methotrexate- yay! I just got copaiba in my order and am excited to add this! It’s encouraging to read other testimonies!

  • Jamye

Susan – I have two friends with similar lupus issues. Both have tissue and organ concerns. Your post is a God send! Do you have any other suggestions? I will direct them both to this post. Blessings!

  • I would have to talk to them directly to find out more of their symptoms to see what other issues need attention, I do have a complete protocol that I follow for my community! Yes, have them drop me a note!

  • Mistie Wiggs

I have been researching the copaiba and trying to find anyone that has used it to treat crohns. My case is very mild but I can tell when it’s flared up. I have chosen not to use the prescribed meds as the side effects are horrible! Have you talked with anyone that has used this for crohns to know if it has helped with that condition? Would you think topical or internal use would be better? Thank you!!

  • I looked up Crohns in ylserach.com and came up with this article you might find helpful:
    http://www.oil-testimonials.com/essential-oils/8947/dealing-with-crohns-disease-and-constipation

I would not necessarily take Copaiba without trying this other option first, as well as taking Sulfurzyme. That is my recommendation – best wishes!! If it were me that is what I would do.

  • Becky

Did you ever have to be on Coumadin bc of Methotrexate side effects?

  • Carrie Lollar Panter

My Mother suffers greatly from SLE and RA. Could you please provide more information about these kits and how to purchase them? Thank you.

  • Nicole Tracey

    Hi,
I have SLE and I was wondering what oils work best?

  • Nicole Tracey

I’m wanting to get off prednisone and Cellcept and my infusion i take.

  • Teri S

    Hi Susan-
I too was diagnosed with Lupus. That was after I was diagnosed with Guillian Berret and then MS. But I was not comfortable with any of the diagnoses I was getting and the over confidence of the MDs. I decided to seek yet another opinion (this would be my 8th). The doctor I saw next sat with me for almost 3hours!, took my history, did a physical like none I had ever had before, and explained that Lyme disease symptoms mimic those of the other diseases I had been diagnosed with (and more). He sent my blood off to a specialized lab in California. Some weeks later I found I had Lyme disease. I’m now passionate about sharing with others who MAY have been misdiagnosed and are being treated for the wrong disease. My cure came from God’s provision of EOs!

  • It really depends on your symptoms, but I have had great success lowering the dose of my medication!

I was diagnosed with AS (Ankylosing Spondylitis) May/2013. My flares are constant and keep me in pain constantly. I cannot take prescription pain meds and have lived with so much pain for many years. This is the first time I have even considered looking into oils as a treatment. I just never thought that they could help or it was a hoax of sorts. There are so many people in my online support group that rave about the effects they are getting from some of these oils. I came across your site on pinterest when I did a search. I am praying to find something for relief. I am only 43 years old and just want some of my life back. AS is an auto-immune disease that causes inflammation and fusing of the spine and SI joints. It also attacks the heart, liver and it seems like every inch of my body. I am looking for help with pain and inflammation. Would you have any suggestions?

  • NingXia Red for sure – this has changed my life! Also using Copaiba topically on the areas of pain, would be first uses… taking regular detox baths using oils and epsom salt – getting rest is a must! Please contact me on my contact page for further help or order a Premium Starter Kit to get you going and I can add you to our FB group and support you there with a lot of information and resources!!

  • AMAZING – To HIM be the GLORY!!

  • I have emailed you a protocol, stay tuned as I will be doing a blog post on this as well

  • Bernadette Walsh

Hi I am a fellow yl distributor and I have a dear friend who is burning up from sle. I see you mention a protocol can you send to me? I have never suffered from.this myself and really want to offer her advice from someone who has. I had already mentioned copiaba previously 🙂 any help us greatly appreciated. Bless you!

  • Jane Doe

I totally agree! NingXia Red would be great to aid and assist in supporting the body…

  • Holly

Im curious, what type of oils did you use for Lymes disease?

  • I do not have Lyme… and am not familiar. If you email me I might be able to direct you.

  • joan

I would like to try this orally, where can I buy empty capules to put the drops in

  • I purchase my capsules on amazon http://bit.ly/veggiecapsules

  • Feel free to contact me via email on my contact page

  • Jamie

Hi…I’m just in the curious stage of essential oils. My boyfriend has developed a chronic type of inflammation (undiagnosed at this time but tests for ra and lupus were negative) and can barely walk even with meds. Is this something that could work for him too or is his symptoms to intense for oils to make a difference.

  • I tried emailing you but my reply to your email was bounced back

  • Peyton

Thank you so much for this! I was just diagnosed with lupus and have been searching for an oil to help!

  • Adrienne Herrera Gustamantes

I use copaiba on my teething baby. I rub some on the bottom of his feet and on his gums. It really does the job!!
