I am so excited to share with you all that I am leaving TOMORROW for an incredible trip to Venice and a Mediterranean cruise – seriously, I can hardly believe it!!  I am so blessed to have earned this trip with Young Living and will have the chance to connect with so many amazing people – plus, this is the longest my husband and I will be together with no kids – ever!  Talk about a celebration and amazing time together.

I often get asked how I travel with essential oils and what are the must have’s, so I wanted to share with you today what you will find in my bag if you were coming along with me!

What’s in my bag  (click through to the blog post to watch the video)

Great video! Two questions about your travel kit…
    1. What do you do about refrigeration for the Life5 while you are traveling?
    2. What do you do about distilled water for your diffuser while you are traveling?

  • I will take a fresh bottle of Life 5 and then when it is opened I will keep on ice in my room or frig if the room as it. I use tap water for my diffuser…. always have… if the water in the area I am in has high mineral content I will use distilled, but have never encountered an issue yet!

which oils do you bring on the plane in your carry on and do they have to go in the quart sized ziploc? Or do you put them all in your checked bag? I’m leaving in less than 2 weeks for Europe for a once in a lifetime trip with my daughter and want to keep us both healthy. I’m new to oils, and also have never traveled abroad. Thanks!

  • I keep those I know I will use in my carry -on bag – I try to fit most in the quart size bag, but will often just keep other oils in my carry bag for oils and take that out and put it in a tray at security. It worked great this last trip!

  • Thanks for sharing, Susan! I am so grateful for Young Living’s products. By the way, where did you get that great Jesus bag in which you can put your oils? I have never seen anything like it.

I have several home made rollers that I use on a daily basis. Are these allowed to be carried on since they are not in a pre-labeled YL bottle? Or do I need to use YL bottles with their labels for my rollers to be allowed?

  • Never had any trouble with bottles not with YL labels 🙂
