  1. THANK YOU< THANK YOU< THANK YOU for sharing this information!!!! I'm gradually learning about YL essential oils, and I've been looking for someone who has been able to wean off prescription antidepressants using YLEO's.

I saw your post in the Oily Family Room. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Myself and our three daughters have a genetic brain malformation and collagen defect. The pain is indescribable. If you don’t mind….could you share how you afford all of these oils/supplements? You can message me on facebook or e-mail. Literally, without God, I would not be here today….he granted me a miracle during a brain surgery. We are blessed!!!

  5. Sure I will message you

  6. Susan, thank you for this; it was very informative. I, too, weaned myself off the anti-depressant I had been taking for almost 10 years. I did this after I got my thyroid, adrenal, Vitamin D and micronutrient issues taken care of (I was deficient in Magnesium, Selenium, and Zinc). By the way, I don’t know if you know this, but your Vitamin D level should be between 80 and 100. Also, in the process of treating one of my sons for Lyme Disease, we discovered that he has two different copies of the MTHFR gene mutation, which means that his body can’t do a good job of converting Folic Acid (a B vitamin) into L-Methylfolate, its active metabolite. The MTHFR gene mutation is implicated in depression. My son having 2 different copies of the gene mutation meant that both his Dad and I have at least 1 copy, and so I got tested, and I have the same copies as my son. So, now I avoid Folic acid as much as possible and take appropriate supplements which already have the active form of L-methylfolate in them. And, of course, I use many of the oils you suggested. Thanks again for sharing your routine! Blessings, Carol

  7. I am bipolar and take Wellbutrin. I had the same trouble with the generic version. Under our previous insurance I was able to get the brand name for the same as generic but under our new insurance we have a high deductible and it was going to be $250/30days out of pocket. Thankfully I tried the SR version of the generic and it works for me. Having struggled with bipolar without knowing what it was and finally by knowing being able to control it with medicine, I am afraid to mess with what works. The essential oils sound intriguing. From my research though the oils aren’t cheap. If you are using that many oils how does it actually work out $$ wise. I spend about $60/mth on my prescription medicines. I would imagine

  8. Thank you for this post. I would love to be able to get off my my antidepressent (pristiq) for anxiety. I have been off and on every antidepressent you can think of for the past 15 years. This gives me hope. Thanks

  9. Very good information. Thank you.
