There are those days – you know, where it seems from ten minutes after you get up, things begin to fall apart. That was my day yesterday.

So, after I beat myself up a bit – I know I am not alone in this – I decided to focus my energy on picking out what God has to say about grace and His love and mercy. Just so I could fight back with some ammunition.

I wanted to share these uplifting Bible verses, as I know other moms struggle with bad days – days when we feel we can’t do a thing right, when we aren’t good enough, and the list goes on – but we must STOP those thoughts. You need to control your mind and allow it to be filled with His mighty words.

Here are 12 uplifting Bible verses for you to meditate on during the hard days:

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3: 23-24

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ. Philippians 1:6

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Cor 12:9

But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. Ephesians 4:7

May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Acts 20:32

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” James 4:6

But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace. Romans 11:6

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10
