NingXia Red Popsicles (Redsicles) for ALL!

NingXia Red Popsicles (Redsicles) for ALL!

I hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July celebration with family and friends. We were out at the beach and our entire family was together. Somewhat of an incredible feat when you are a blended family.

Today I am sharing our new favorite summer treat – NingXia Redsicles. Simple, tasty and actually really good for you! Replace those high fructose corn syrup laden storebought popsicles with homemade and do a body good!Popsicle Molds

We use these Tovolo Star Ice Pop Molds – which have lasted great. I purchased them over two years ago from Amazon. Right now the pink ones are actually a little less expensive. They are so easy to use, stand up in the freezer with the handy stand, and I can put it all in the dishwasher.

Simple NingXia Redsicle Recipe

  • 1 1/4 cup Young Living NingXia Red
  • 3/4 water
  • 4 drops Young Living Vitality Orange Essential Oil (for a little added zing!)
  • 4 drops Young Living Vitality Lime Essential Oil (to give it a tropical flavor!)

Mix all the ingredients together in a glass or metal container and then pour into the popsicle molds. Freeze for 4-5 hours. Remove the popsicle mold, run under warm water for a few seconds, and then slide off to enjoy.

If you are unfamiliar with Ningxia Red and why on earth we would use this as a base for a popsicle, be sure to check out this previous post I shared on NingXia Red. We use it daily in our home, everyone taking a dose of 1-2 ounces daily to energize, fortify, and revitalize the body and support overall health and wellness, from head to toe.

Click here for details on how to purchase therapeutic grade essential oils and your very own NingXia Red too (the Premium Starter Kit comes with two sample sachets of Ningxia Red so you can try it out too!) and I have some free goodies to send you too which you will love – a Mom Survival Kit!

Here is one happy kiddo!

Kicking Off Summer for the Busy Mom

I can not even express how excited I am to finally be able to say – THE 2014 SUMMER SURVIVAL CALENDAR IS FINALLY RELEASED TODAY!!!

With my computer mishap earlier in the month and then one of my assistance having a family emergency, well….. we mom’s get it – life happens, even when we have the greatest intentions.  So forgive me from getting it in just in the nick of time.

But here it is – a beautiful site.

Take charge of your summer with The Confident Mom’s 2014 Summer Survival Calendar, and get ready for your best summer ever!

The 2014 Summer Survival Calendar is a four-month calendar with over 120 activities to blast boredom and increase family time. It features at least one low-budget (and sometimes free) activity, craft project, or kid friendly recipe every day from May 1 to August 31.

The calendar comes in a digital PDF download so you have it instantly, and most activities include a clickable link so you can easily view instructions or photos.

New this year – I’ve created  a weekly supply list that coordinates with the activities planned for the week, which means you no longer have to create a supply list – the list is created for you, just look it over, decide what you may already have and you are set.  No wasting time going through each activity!  {This is by far my favorite thing – I’ve done all the work so you don’t have to!}

The Summer Survival Calendar keeps kids busy, happy, and engaged during those long, hot summer days—and moms will find it to be a lifesaver when kids exhibit symptoms of the “boredom blues.”

If you’ve used the Summer Survival Calendar in years past, you can be assured that it is just not a repeat of previous activities, at least 90% are all new activities, which means more fun and memories for everyone.

You can also get a bundle that includes the 2014 Summer Survival Calendar + the 10 Strategies for Your Best Summer Ever Action Guide and audio workshop – which has a ton more printables to help you organize your summer.

Hop on over and grab your copy today – if you are a newsletter subscriber, make sure you check your inbox today – don’t miss my newsletter blast!   BUY IT NOW.

If you are in “getting ready for summer” mode, make sure you go back and check out my 30 Day Summer Series I did last year, all kinds of great tips for preparing and planning for a great summer!

Summer’s A Comin’ – Are You Kid Ready?

Summer vacation is just around the corner.

Do you feel prepared?

Last week I wrote about the Four F’s of Summer Parenting which hopefully got your juices flowing on how to make this summer a little bit different.  Now I can help you with the practical application of keeping everyone busy, happy and engaged in productive fun!

The 2012 Confident Mom Summer Survival Calendar is out!  Have you already grabbed your copy?

One of the chores of having kids home during the summer is finding fun activities to do each day.  If you don’t have a plan you can find yourself all still in your pajamas at 3 PM.  (Really, that doesn’t EVER happen at your house?)

Well, I’ve scoured the Internet in search of budget-friendly, creative, and fun-filled activities that families can enjoy together and put it all together in an easy to use calendar format.  I’ve done all the work for you!  You get at least one low-budget (and
sometimes free) activity, craft project, or recipe every day from May 15 to August 31

Just add ‘kids’, grab some ingredients or a few supplies and GO!A family summer planner, organizer and calendar all in one!

In addition to the great planned calendar activities, I’ve also included an Action Guide and mini audio workshop with “10 Strategies for Your Best Summer Ever.”  In addition to the calendar’s suggested daily activities, there are numerous other worksheets and checklists to keep you organized and make sure you meet your goals. You’ll find:

  • 10 Strategies for Your Best Summer Ever Action Guide
  • Summer Goals Worksheet
  • Ideas for Summer Fun Checklist
  • Quiet Time Activities Worksheet
  • Important Summer Dates Checklist/Calendar
  • Standard Operating Procedures Worksheet
  • Weekly Menu Planner/Grocery List
  • Summer Weekly Planner
  • Be Summer Organized Checklist

It’s a no brainer!

I know what has helped my family conquer summer successfully over the year and put it all together in a format that makes it easy for busy moms to get a plan. You will love the ease of looking at a day on the calendar and knowing there is something fun already planned for your family to discover.  No more guesswork!
