I know as a mom I find it hard to make sure I spend time with each of my children on a one to one basis. (Especially when you are recovering from Strep throat!) But the importance of this simple activity can reap huge benefits. It is worth carving out that time to spend 10 or 20 minutes connecting with each child at least once a week. Your choice of activity does not need to be huge, most often the smallest moments are the ones that matter and are remembered most.
