Hi, I’m Susan. I am not a “perfect mom.” I don’t always have it all together and often show you the very “unperfect,” frustrating, and real side of motherhood. I understand and empathize with the sometimes overwhelming job of being a mom.
My journey as a mom has led me through seasons as a single mom, a step-mom, foster mom, and adoptive mom. My personal experience dealing with Sensory Integration Disorder and ADHD behavior in children has strengthened my ability to become an effective advocate for children with unique needs and develop effective strategies for success. Empowering moms is my passion. I draw on my personal experiences to support and encourage moms using biblical principles and embracing what God has planned for you and your family.
I am passionately committed to helping Christian moms make small intentional changes managing their home and family giving them more time, less stress, and stronger family relationships. Being confident in your role as a mom is key to your family thriving instead of just surviving.
I am an avid runner and have competed in half-marathons; it is my stress-reliever! My friends lovingly call me a “frugalista” and I use my savings on fun extras for my family. (I even flew my family of five to Hawaii for $400.)
I am a true “Seattleite”; I love coffee, cloudy days, and can even pronounce Puyallup and Sequim and yes, I do think the “bluest skies you’ve ever seen are in Seattle.”
