I had no idea that National Coffee Day was Saturday, September 29, 2012. Yikes, that could be seen as a big ‘faux pas’ most importantly because I live in the coffee lovers capital of the Northwest – Seattle! I mean I love coffee —– really love coffee!
When a kind representative at Tully’s Coffee® shared this with me and offered me the opportunity to sample a few of their most popular fall coffee blends along with a Keurig® MINI Plus Brewing System, of course I could not resist. Especially since they were also offering a Tully’s® Prize Pack for one of my readers! {This is where you get excited too}

Tully’s® slow roast process is similar to toasting a marshmallow slowly over a low ember until it’s evenly browned and caramelized throughout. {Doesn’t that just sound yummy?} When Tully’s® coffee beans are treated with this kind of patience, the result is richer, fuller cup of coffee. It takes a little longer, and requires an artist’s touch, but the difference is revealed with every sip. You can totally taste it!
They offer 17 different blends in a wide range of flavor profiles, including “Spirited” light roast, “Balanced” medium roast, and “Grand” dark roast collections.
I have been using a Keurig® now for a few months and have to say that I am in love. You get a perfect cup every time and the even better part, I do not have to get the coffee all ready to brew the night before like I did with my old coffee maker. This saves time! When I used the Keurig® MINI Plus Brewing System that was sent, it was just a fabulous, but even a bit better. The appliance took hardly any room on my counter. It kept things nice and neat – less clutter is better. Isn’t it cute?
But what really blew me away was the Tully’s Coffee®that came along. I was able to try out the Tully’s®“Balanced” Medium Roast- House Blend as well as Tully’s® “Grand” Dark Roast – French Roast.
My favorite was the House Blend, while my husband preferred the French Roast. Now, this is another feature of brewing with a Keurig® system, if you have more than one coffee drinker in the house, they can brew the exact coffee they prefer, which may very well be different from your own. I love that. When my hubby wants to start drinking decaf earlier in the day than I, well easy peasy, he pops in a decaf K-Cup® and I can continue to drink it full strength.
