We all made it through week one! Hooray!
I hope you were able to allow what you learned last week to sink in over the weekend. I find it so helpful to review my notes and what I’ve journaled about when I get a break – it helps solidify the changes that I need to be making and continue to be constantly aware of. Boy, it is hard to break bad habits and gain new good ones, isn’t it?
I have so enjoyed our conversations on the Facebook page – I love how everyone is honest about really where they are at and also encouraged to seek a better place in the midst of life. It can be so easy to just give up and accept things as they are, but I truly believe God wants to grow us in so many ways. How did the memory verse go last week? I am excited to share these verses each week, it gives you something you can grasp onto all week!
Find strength in the Lord ladies, and allow Him to help you!
Week Two Reading Assignment:
Read Chapters 4, 5, 6
I will be posting my thoughts on Chapter 4 on Tuesday, Chapter 5 on Wednesday, and Chapter 6 on Thursday. For today, I would love for you to leave a comment with the biggest take-away you’ve had so far on the material we’ve covered. For myself, it has been this feeling that by saying yes to things that are not from God I am saying NO to things that are from Him. That makes me sad and helps me to remember to truly be careful when committing myself – no matter if it is to help someone with something or take on projects here on my blog. These are self-sabatoging behaviors that I must keep in check at all times!
Also, for those who signed up for the “Getting Real – Conversations that Spark Change” Conference Calls, you get your first one today with Glynnis Whitwer, the author of “I Used to Be So Organized,” – this call was pre-recorded, but all others will be done live. I had so much fun recording the interview with Glynnis last week – she is full of inspiration and truly honest about the challenges we face as moms and how she still is challenged daily. For those who have purchased the “Getting Real – Conversations that Spark Change” Conference Call Series, you should have received an email with the information on how to access your recording. If not, please email me. If you didn’t purchase it before now – don’t worry, you can run over and get it now and get the recording of Glynnis’s call as well as the information for the upcoming calls.
