2013 Summer Survival Calendar is Here!

“Dirty hands, iced tea, garden fragrances thick in the air, and a blanket of color before me, who could ask for more?” —Bev Adams

Sniff, sniff…do you smell that? It’s the scent of summer, and it’s almost upon us!  This year, I am once again helping moms everywhere take charge of summer activities with the 2013 Summer Survival Calendar.

The Confident Mom 2013 Summer Survival Calendar offers boredom-blasting activities, creative craft projects, kid-friendly recipes, and more! This colorful summer calendar features at least one suggested activity each day from May 1 to August 31—from making marshmallow shooters, scavenger hunts, tie-dye socks, and ice cream in a can to planting sunflowers, coffee ground fossils, painting with milk paint, outdoor twister, and making frozen yogurt dots; there are over 120 engaging activities the whole family can enjoy. This digital PDF document includes clickable links for most projects with directions/supplies needed for easy planning.

I spent countless hours scouring the Internet in search of budget-friendly, creative, and fun-filled activities that families can enjoy together and assembled them in the Summer Survival Calendar—I have done all the work, making it hassle-free and convenient for moms. And with the low-budget (and sometimes free) projects, any family from any walk of life can utilize it. This calendar keeps kids busy, happy, and engaged during those long, hot summer days—moms will find it to be a lifesaver when kids exhibit symptoms of the “boredom blues.”

If you’ve purchased the Summer Survival Calendar in the past, you’ll be excited to know that the activities change every year so you are receiving fresh, new content each summer. More than 90% of the activities and recipes are new. If you are new to the Summer Survival Calendar, I recommend purchasing the bundled package that includes 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 for $10. You’ll receive a plethora of boredom- busting activities!

To help moms take charge and make this their best summer ever, I have also developed the 10 Strategies for Your Best Summer Ever Action Guide {this was available in last years calendar, so if you purchased last years, you’ve already got it, although it has been updated to reflect the 2013 calendar}

This optional action guide and audio workshop features numerous worksheets and checklists to keep moms organized and prepared. These easy-to-use forms include Summer Goals, Ideas for Summer Fun, 10 Strategies for Your Best Summer Ever action guide, Quiet Time Activities, Important Summer Dates, Standard Operating Procedures, Weekly Menu Planner/Grocery List, Summer Weekly Planner, Be Summer Organized checklist, and an audio file.

As you can see, this year’s calendar and action guide is literally bursting with tools to help busy moms stay focused and on task while making sure to enjoy all summer has to offer—especially quality time with their children.
