The past two months I have been really intentional to focus my mind on what I can control and what I cannot. I have found encouragement in some bible verses on hope. If you are feeling a bit discouraged, read on.
As moms, we have the ability to help our families change their outlook. Do you believe that? We have the opportunity to help set the tone in our homes, and right now we can offer hope.
We can choose to look for positive outcomes, even when things are seemingly very discouraging. We have a choice in how we show up and where we set our minds. Instead of focusing on the trials we are currently experiencing, set your mind upon God’s message of hope. It will inspire you, encourage and uplift you, and likely others in your home.
Here are some of my favorite bible verses on hope to meditate on during challenging times. Save a few of these images and have them on your phone. Send one to a friend to encourage her. Or download all ten quotes in this free printable to collect them all.
Remember, we can be a light to others, even when things are hard.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.
—Jeremiah 17:7

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
—Romans 15:13

In His name the nations will put their hope.
—Matthew 12:21

May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.
—Psalm 25:21

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
—Isaiah 40:31
