Immune Support Nectar

I love providing my family the best in wellness –  I shared what to stock in your winter wellness cabinet here.  I am a natural remedy seeker now 100%, and I love encouraging other moms to do the same.

This nectar is by far one of  our favorite necessary wellness treats in the winter months.  We also love using essential oils everyday, getting extra rest, and have this Homemade Vapor Rub handy, try to stay away from sugar, (eating sugar curbs immune system cells that attack bacteria) take wonderful epsom salt baths to detox and yes…. stay in our jammies  when needed!  

Supporting the immune system is critical and we love this immune support nectar which has yummy lemon and honey in it as well as some essential oils.  An added benefit is that it also supports our respiratory system!

Make this now, before you need it and have it on hand.  I use 1-2 Tablespoons myself, either right from the spoon into my mouth or I put it in a mug of warm water – it is really tasty and helps soothe things.

I even make a mug with the ‘nectar’ in it for my four year old and he drinks it down.  As the honey mixture gets lower in the jar I will add one or two slices to my mug of water too.

Here is the recipe to make your own:

Immune Support Nectar

1/2 C Local Raw Honey

10 drop Young Living Thieves Vitality Essential Oil

5 drops Young Living Ginger Vitality Essential Oil

4 drops Young Living Thyme Vitality Essential Oil

1 thinly sliced Lemon

Combine all ingredients and let sit.  Refrigerate up to 3 months.

The photo shows what a double batch looks like, just in case you mix yours up and it is a small batch and you wonder. :-)

Please only use Young Living Essential oils for this recipe where you are ingesting oils.
